Words to the Wise
“Words to the Wise. Listen to the whispers and release the knowing.
Nothing is what is seems in the moment.” ~jh
In these times of shifts of energies, that feeling of pushing forward regardless of the outcome, the ego may push back as the old familiar comfort zone is being moved in a new shape or form. Breathe.
I am doing many new things and many old things in new ways and the familiar voice of reason comes out and attempts to stop me with sudden fatigue or distractions that may be of importance. There is always something to do in the mundane way…clean out this draw or make sure this is taken care of, taking your focus off of the new and trying to distract you from that push to grow.
Another tactic of this reasonable voice is overthinking the whole process of the new, yet you know better… to keep it simple. One step at a time, taking a moment to enjoy the process of pushing through that fear of the unfamiliar and unknown. Breathe.
Past lessons may also creep up on you and remind you of past humiliations or failures. Remember the lessons, give thanks for them and push ahead. Knowing you will always have some kind of lesson along the way as this in one of the very reason you are here…to lesson and experience.
And let’s not forget the inner voice saying you don’t know enough and do more research or classes on what to do; Procrastination in doubts of your abilities.
Yet there is a calmer, stable voice inside you, whispering these wonderful ideas and solutions that you hear, yet hesitate to trust. Could it be that simple? Simply, go do it and figure it out?
Most of us have these moments and there are many ways to clear these moments of anxiety and uncertainty. Here are a few ideas to help you push yourself over the edge and share your creative brilliance:
Having faith and meditate.
Write in your journal about all your fears to get them out in the open.
Do Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping on the specific feeling(s) move the energy in positive ways…go for a walk in nature, dance, yoga for example.
Free associative writing with the fear or doubt its self or with the inner child.
Deal with the emotions through breathing exercises and acknowledge the feeling. Allowing to flow through you without attaching to it or the memories popping up.
Release through crying. A good cry gets it out of you and acknowledging it.
Talk to a trusted friend or professional who know how to hold the space by listening. Picking a person who thinks they know what you know to do can make it worse, not better. Choose wisely with who.
Acupuncture and a good massage can assistant you in releasing the tension.
Having an orgasm also can relieve the tension and allow you to move forward.
Read positive words in blogs or listen to vlogs. Just don’t use this as an excuse not to get something done.
Make a list of steps. Just do a step a day and allow yourself to get it done at the pace you are comfortable. A lesson of patience, persistence, and progress are always good to embrace as you share your brilliance.
