Falling Stars of Childhood
Be still, my dear one
Calm yourself in the delight before you, like a child with the fireworks of life. All the color, excitement and noise. Chase down that shining star, as the flare fades in the distance. Take heart in the blaze on that moment, with wide eyes and open mouth. The amazement and dazzlement of the falling stars down from Heavens.
Be still, dear one.
Calm yourself and realize The beauty before you at this moment. For in a blink of an eye, this time will vanish. Take heath for your innocence. Tuck it away for another day of play. Make everyday the brilliance of the falling stars in the night sky. Raise high your expectations and elude the illusions. Allow yourself that remembrance of a small child looking up in the night sky. Lite up with all the stars of the Heavens, dancing before you in wonder. ~jh
